When i try to upload a blog icon on a normal user account, it lets me upload one, but then when i click on save, it goes back to the blog page but nothing gets saved. i dont see what i am doing wrong to make this happen.

I'd suggest creating a support ticket so we can take a look at this more closely.

I'm having the same problem. I've used my admin account to make sure it wasn't a R-user restriction. I down load the Icon but it is nowhere to be found after posting the thread. Any news or info about this yet?Comment
