If you have the new Vb 5 license, you can use any version of VB but only one version per license.

You need one license per forum you run basically, therefor if your thinking "I paid for vB5 but can see download options in the members area for vB5, vB4, vB3 so I should be able to use all three of them" then that is not correct.

You can only purchase a vB5 license currently HOWEVER your free to download and install vB5 or vB4 or vB3 under the 5 License but not one of each at the same time. One site per license is how you should think about it so yes you would need to purchase another vB5 license in order to run 4.2.1 if your already running 5.0.2 on the current license you have .

Using 2 forum for 1 license

This is probably a noob question but I'm going to ask any way. Can I use vBulletin 5 and use vBulletin 4.2 at the same time or I need to have another license for 4.2?
Because I have purchased vBulletin 5 and vBulletin 4.2 is just there not being used.

    Thanks for the reply.
