  • SEO - word repetition within url

    Hey guys,
Is there a word repetition limit within a URL to avoid penalities from spiders?
    Example:
    fishingbb.com/forum/fishing-forums/general-fishing
    fishingbb.com/forum/fishing-forums/predator-fishing
    fishingbb.com/forum/fishing-forums/carp-fishing
    fishingbb.com/forum/fishing-forums/fly-fishing
    etc, etc
Visually, visitors could find themselves better with this forum names configuration, but when looking at the URLs..
There are 3 "fishing" words within a URL including the domain name in almost all my forums.
Is it ok with big boss google?

    Thanks

Well the received advice is to try and avoid it.

Personally, these days Google is much smarter and can usually work these things out for itself. I would never advise making a site less intuitive for the end user on the grounds of "SEO".
