  • How do I move all users from a custom usergroup to default usergroups?

I am trying to repair a migrated database. This is how usergroups are right now.

I basically want to move all users in custom groups to primary groups of the same levels.

Did you try using Admincp > Users > Prune/Move Users to move them?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

ah. i deleted the custom user groups. all of them were moved to primary usergroup (registered user) which sort of works well for my testing. thanks. should have tried doing that before posting here.

        Hi,

When I attempt to move/prune users I get an error in /var/log/error_log
[Wed Jun 24 22:01:36 2015] [error] [client ip hidden] PHP Warning: Unknown: Input variables exceeded 1000. To increase the limit change max_input_vars in php.ini. in Unknown on line 0, referer: https://forum.nexonm.com/admincp/user.php?do=pruneusers
I don't understand what 'in unknown' means.

        Any help is welcome.

Try to move less users than 1000 at the same time.

            Hello,

Set max_input_vars 10000 in php.ini and you can use 10K batches.

            Kind regards,
            George.
