    Yeah that is my guess too. Not sure why it did it though, its the only thing on the box and its a cpanel server.

    That really sounds like a MySQL server error, given enough time the file locks/table locks have come unlocked.

    Interesting, I tried to restart it a few times and kept getting the same error, I then left it alone for awhile then started it again and now its going fine again.

    I am now up to 5.0.0 RC 1 Step 8 of 21.

    I am trying to upgrade from vBulletin 4.2.0 to 5.0.1 it has been running for almost 24 hours now, and just crapped out on me upgrading vBulletin v5.0.0 Beta 25.

    The error I am getting is...

    Unexpected Text:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?>
    The total number of locks exceeds the lock table size.

    Where do I do from here?
