  • Forum Problems Need Help

    Hello,

We recently purchased vBulletin 5 Connect without advertising and set it up for one of our projects. We have had nothing but problems. The performance of vBulletin 5 is like shoty at best. It seems everything is bugged or broken.

We need to get something stable up and running for our community that actually works and wont break every time we try to customize it. Would we be best reverting to 4.0?

    Thanks

    Dan

Hi Dan, vB4.2.0 is very stable and it may be that you want to start your website using that and then upgrade to vB5 when it seems more usable for your site.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Indeed. I would advice you the same as well. Start with the latest version of vb 4.2.x and wait and see how thing will go with vb 5.
