  • No Site Builder Button

    Have a test site up and running vB5.4.4, was wondering how you edit the site and reading through this section it appears there should be a site builder button for site admins. Is there somewhere the button is switched on/off

    It is controlled by a permission under Usergroups ->Administrator Permissions. "Can Use Site Builder"

      Hi Wayne

      Had to do an extra step as when went to Usergroups ->Administrator Permissions it appaears I didnt have permission to edit administrators permissions! Luckily it tells you what to do to get the access - edit config.php and add the users ID to the $config['SpecialUsers']['superadmins'] = '1';

      Once I added my ID to the superadmins I was able to edit and add the Site Builder to my profile.

      All good, now for a play with site builder.

      Thanks again for the help.

        This isn't a step required by everyone. Usually, they are already using the Super Administrator to apply permissions for other Administrators.
