  • Is CMS from vBulletin 4 Converted to vB 5 visible and usable?

As far as I know vBulletin 5 saves the CMS from vBulletin 4 but is not usable nor viewable by the public? And FAQ is not saved so you better save all that text you put in there. I assume the side bar I created for my CMS vB4 is also disgarded?

Is this correct? Anything else I am missing?

    Yes.

As of vBulletin 5.1.0 (released in March 2014), the CMS functionality from vBulletin 4 has been available in vBulletin 5. You can see it by clicking on the Articles link in the header of this page. There are some differences though. vBulletin 4 used a hack that allowed article comments to be posted via a hidden forum topic. In vBulletin 5, all article comments are placed on the article itself. You do not need the hidden forum hack any longer. When you upgrade, all vB4 Article content will be converted to Article channels and topics within vBulletin 5.
