    Spam Bot Search Tool (SBST)

Are there any plans to add support for Spam Bot Search Tool from Steven Burn and Smurf Minions? I am not seeing any new features in vBulletin 5 that would help prevent spam bot registration, and SBST (while not perfect) does a nice job of stopping the majority of spam bots from making it through registration. I know that people have made mods for vBulletin in the past to allow checking new registrations against the StopForumSpam database, however this does not go quite as far as SBST, and therefore SBST is my preferred method for preventing spam bots from registering on my forums.

By now, nothing is known in this way.
No private support, only PM me when I ask for it. Support in the forums only.

I use an own SpamBot-Tool (BotZilla). I simply track all visits and block BadBots by htaccess-rules. It's simple and works fine!

This needs to be added to JIRA. There are already JIRAs for StopForumSpam and Bad Behavior though. However once added to JIRA, we will allow further discussion. If it is not added to JIRA, the suggestion will never be reviewed by the development team.
