  • Why Can't Normal Full Members Post Threads (topics) on My vBulletin 5.0.4 Forum?

I am relaunching an old forum http://www.beautyadviceforum.co.uk/ and have successfully launched and are ready for new members but for whatever reason registered users cannot post new threads, they can only reply to old ones and I cannot see why this is.

I have given them full access to create topics in the admin controls and as the admin I can successfully create topics just fine but I am unable to get new accounts to have the same ability.

As you can imagine this is a big problem.

Please help, I have no idea what to do now.

Check under "Channel Permissions" to make sure they have "can create" permissions enabled.

I have gone through and double checked and this is correctly set as seen in the attached image.

Previously I had gotten it so that the topic creation button showed but gave an error when clicked but as you can see in the second image the option to post a topic is not even showing up now.

      I am very lost here.

We need to have a look at your permissions.
