in this forum (vBulletin 5 connect feedback) there are 23 pages. i see page 1 of 23 and arrows left and right. here's an idea to fix this that would keep the page clean. how about a down arrow that drops down when you hover or click on it....then arrow down to page 14 or whatever and click on it? this would allow users to find a specific page without going through each page one at a time, and would not add more junk to the display. i've seen many people complain about this here and elsewhere. what do you think?

I suggest the pagination controls be the same controls in the bottom pagination in the Topic detail page (thread). -
Which ever way is chosen, I feel it is guess work at the end of the session..
From 23 pages, we limp through all 23 pages for what reason? Are we guessing what is on page 17 for example?
Why not include a forum wide search for un read topics? http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-11472
And a bookmark system for topics we have left at an earlier stage? http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-9345
So much easier than guessing... We also have numbered pages also.
