Visitor Message/ Notifications

I have gotten a few visitor messages, where the text does not show in the notification, nor is there a link. Also, a non-admin/user replied to a message, and I'm wondering how they saw it, and I can't unless I "Go To Post"

If there is a place to post visitor messages, why am I not seeing that when I go to the forum?

Visitor Messages are not private, they are messages left on, and visible on, people’s profile page. Anyone can view them and reply to them.

This guy is a registered user, so even messages posted to their page read as a "Visitor Message"?

Shouldn't the notification to the admin's email show the text of the message with a link to it?

Yes - a visitor to their profile left the message - so it's a visitor message. In this case, a visitor is anyone that is not them.

That email screenshot you've shows us is a Contact Form email, not a Visitor Message email notification.
