Assign rights to users

Good day .
I wanted to assign rights to the users:
"Can edit own posts"

I tried this in the
"Admin control panel"
"View Permissions"
→ "yes"

Couldn't save that though.

Do I have to do this somewhere else?

View permissions only allows you to view permissions and whether a user has that access or not.

You can edit Usergroup Permissions under Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager. Edit each usergroup that you want to change.
You can edit Channel (i.e. Forum Permissions) under Usergroups -> Channel Permissions. Edit each usergroup under every channel that you want to change.
