Traditional Gallery setup

Is there a way to setup VB5 so that it works and displays images as a traditional online gallery?
By traditional gallery I mean, that I would like to create categories where users could upload their photos, and other users could comment them.

No... The closest you can come is using the Photo Tab on channels where the only content they can create are Photo Galleries. Create your channels and remove all content type except "Can Create Photo" and "Can Create Gallery". Clicking on the photos tab gives you a list of all images in the channel.

Re-enabling Photo Galleries

I remember that 5 years ago I have disabled the gallery page, and now I can't somehow find it...

Photo Carousel or Gallery

Would be really nice if VB5 had some sort of module that could span the top of a page (beneath the header) like a slideshow of pictures. Kind of like Apple used to have the album art and you could scroll...
