Extending the copyright width

I want the footer to extend to the full width of the footer to the page please (link below show what I mean). I also want to make the background of the copyright footer as grey and for the text to be white.

Am I allowed to add my company details, VAT registration and copyright symbol? Is the copyright symbol not allowed as it may be interpreted as my company created the forum??

You can adjust the max-width variable of the footer-copyright ID in CSS.
