Notifications / mentions in comments

I suggest adding this as a bug. It should work in Comments after typing 3 characters. It is a waste of resources to type less than three characters and run a name search.

The auto suggest does not always pop up, so back spacing and retyping sometimes helps. It also does not work if special colors and bold characters selected from the enhanced editor are used directly next to it.

BTW. This user does not have special characters in his name, only the first letter is a capital letter.

On my forum there is a user where the notification in comments does not work.

When I mention his username with @ in a post it does work. But when typing the same in a comment it does not work.

When I copy the source and paste it in the comments it does work.

The Notifications / mentions in comments do not always work. I am not sure why sometimes it does work and with certain members not.

Anyone else have experienced this? Or is there a known bug?
