    google ad sense on cloud

I'm trying to set up google AdSense on the cloud version of v bulletin, however, google keeps rejecting my site as the code is not hosted on the non-www variant of the site as cloud-only supports www.

this is the exact message I get from adsense

URL must be a valid top-level domain. Did you mean to enter: http://domain.com

is there a workaround this as google will not verify site?

Do a 301 redirect from domain.com to www.domain.com at your registrar.

Right that worked and finally google have accepted the ad sense account.

Now they are asking me to perform the following:

To prevent severe impact on revenue, download an ads.txt file then upload the file to the root level domain of each site:

I have the txt file, would this be possible to upload onto the root on vbulletin cloud?

You cannot upload files like this to vBulletin Cloud. However, vBulletin Cloud automatically generates this file for you. You would need to:

          1) Create a 301 redirect from domain.com to your vbulletin cloud subdomain.domain.com URL. Your domain name registrar can help with this.
          2) Enter the contents of the Ads.txt file in the appropriate file under Settings -> Options -> Search Engine Tools in the AdminCP.

Has anything changed with this recently?

I had entered the contents of the Ads.txt file in the appropriate file under Settings -> Options -> Search Engine Tools in the AdminCP at lrast two years ago, but AdSense is now giving me a new warning saying, "Earnings at risk - You need to fix some ads.txt file issues to avoid severe impact to your revenue." and "To prevent severe impact on revenue, download an ads.txt file then upload the file to the root level domain of each site (trackforum.org)..."

I checked the download, and the contents of the ads.txt file is the same as the original.

And you pointed your domain.tld to your cloud URL using your DNS?

If so, you would need to contact Google to understand what they need.

I have the same problem, my warning never went away so I gave up. I tried all the suggestions posted over and over. My revenue has increased in the mean time anyway so the heck with it. If you do figure things out please post it up so I can try it.
                  Thanks much
