  • Post Like Button

    Is there a way to make the Post Like Button more prominent like in the mobile style.

    There isn't really a mobile style. It is styled with CSS. How it is styled depends on the screen size of the device, rather than the type of device. Anything you can do in CSS can be applied to the button.

    Something like the following will probably work:

    .li[id^="vote"] .b-post-control__label {your custom css here}

      So where do I find this?

        You would have to add custom CSS to your css_additional.css template. It doesn't exist in the system at this time. You're customizing your installation.

            Something simpler:

            .js-post-control__vote {color:red;font-weight:bold;}

            Though, this kind of breaks recommended customization. There is no guarantee that this JS Hook will exist in the future.

              I was given this at vb.org which is a big improvement. It changes the sprite colour.
              .b-icon__like {
              filter: invert(27%) sepia(51%) saturate(2878%) hue-rotate(346deg) brightness(104%) contrast(97%);
              }

                That changes the icon, not the text. They are two different things.

                  Yes. For my oddball old users it needs to be noticeable. Both hacks work, so thanks.

                      The icon combined with the word "like" is a button. Just has a different appearance via CSS.

                        Sorry, That's not what I meant. Does the thanks count show up somewhere on the postbit, threadbit or profile?

                          When someone like's a post you create, it adds to your reputation. This is show in the post display under the user information.

                            Okay so no actual post thanks count. Odd. I would think that the counts would be important.

                              It is a reputation system, not a thanks system.
