[Bug / Issue] Some users do not received notifications or emails from subscribed threads

Hello vBulletin Support,

I'm opening a new thread since I didn't receive any response on my original thread here:

To recap things. Six months ago I asked for assistance regarding an issue where forum-users didn't receive notification from subscribed threads or received them with very long delay, more than 24+ hours.
After applying the suggested settings everything worked fine for about 6 months, now things are again the same - missing notifications or very long delay.

I got a confirmation from our IT team nothing has been changed on the Forum configuration.
I would like to get this fixed cause it certainly breaks the communication between our company and the customers. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like your email cache is overloaded. Notifications of new posts aren't really considered to be important and will be placed in the queue. If you are using the default settings for the queue, then it is easy for it to get overloaded. It will send a total of 60 emails every hour. The size of your email queue will always be listed on the AdminCP home page.

To work around this, you should use an STMP provider so you can turn the email queue off and send all emails as they are created. If your hosting provider limits the number of emails you can send at a time, you will need to find a provider at a third-party site.
