Error when editing html module

  • [Bug / Issue] Error when editing html module

    Hi, after editing html in " Static HTML Module Content", it was impossible to save, error message:
    Error saving the configuration for [.....] module.
    Please try again later.
    Error information: " 403 error Forbidden"

    i tried to delete the html code and save, it's ok, but impossible to put and save new code,
    i tried the code on localhost vb 5.5.0, there is no error,

    i tried with this simple code, i get same error:

    HTML Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <h1>My First Heading</h1>
    <p>My first paragraph.</p>

    You don't include the DOCTYPE or the html or body tags. Those are already in the core software.

      thank you very much In Omnibus for clarification,
      I removed these tags from this simple code and it becomes possible to save:

        <h1>My First Heading</h1>  <p>My first paragraph.</p>

      i removed these tags from my code i get same error, example:

      HTML Code:
       <style style="text/css">
            .Table2{width:100%; }
          .Table2 td {
                  width: 65px;
                  height: 65px;
          .Table2 td:hover {
                background-color: #d2d9e0;
      <table class="Table2">

        A 403 error is a server error. It means something is being blocked by the server.

        Check mod_security rules on the server. You will find it's probably related to the CSS (css should really go in the css_additional.css template though).

          just off the firewall, put the html code, save, firewall on, and it's perfectly working..

          grateful for the help and glad ton know that my firewall working nice..

            If you have a static IP, you should be able to edit your firewall so that it doesn't block HTML submissions from your personal IP Address.
