Is there a way to make the home page different from the page users see when they first enter our site?

Edit the page you want to be your home page in Site Builder. When saving the page, select the "Make this page the Home Page." checkbox.

I think my question was unclear. We would like to use the vbulletin default home page template for one of our pages however, we don't want this to be the page that our users land on when they enter the site. So we're wondering if there's a way to indicate one page as the "home page" so that we can use the template but actually have a different page be the one users first see when they log in. Is this possible?

What you want is not possible. You cannot redirect users to a specific page when they log in.
