PDF Attachment uploads stopped working after recent update

Attaching PDFs to posts has been working fine up until a recent update. Now, trying to upload any PDF results in the message "This is not a valid image file."

I've double-checked that PDF is an allowed attachment type, with correct MIME type, and with a large enough file size limit, and also even tried re-uploading PDFs that we have successfully uploaded in the past.

Anyone else having this problem? This is using the Cloud version of vBulletin 5.5.3.

I have no issue on 5.5.3 stand alone version.

A PDF is not an image file. It needs to be uploaded with the attachment icon on the right, not the camera icon on the left.

While PDFs are not technically images, they are treated as such in a lot of functionality across the web. One such tidbit of functionality is generating thumbnails of PDF files. vBulletin supports this on properly configured servers. However most servers do not support this functionality. It requires both the third party libraries of ImageMagick and Ghostscript to be installed on your server. To disable this functionality go to Settings -> Options -> Image Settings. Set Enable PDF Thumbnails" and set the option to No.

We are using the attachment icon in the upper right, not the camera icon on the left. And they were working fine until after the most recent update to vBulletin Cloud.

If you can't see them, then they aren't available to Cloud Customers. Not all settings are. Settings that have been deemed Security Risks by the Cloud Team and the Network Operations Center are hidden to protect the platform.

This is my 1st post, i am also having the same issue in my forum, not able to upload pdf files. So i am here to seek help as i am a vbulletin cloud customer.
please help me fix it, as i feel this issue happy to me very recently (few days ago)
