Getting-started tutorial / information for development om plugins for vBulletin 5 Connect?

I'm interested in developing som simpler plugins for vBulletin 5 Connect, but I cannot seem to find neither a getting-started tutorial for that, nor a subforum for it (e.g. under the "Customizing vBulletin" where it could be expected)?

For starters, I'd just like some boilerplate code that can access:

1. Information about the currently logged-in user in vBulletin 5 Connect.
2. Some kind of interface for querying the vBulletin 5 Connect database.
3. The possibility to output HTML code that can be displayed inside vBulletin 5 Connect.

What am I missing, and where should I start for finding good information about this?

Where is "your forum" then if I may ask? All I can see in your footer is the text "vBulletin-Forum.de closed", so I guess that wouldn't be it, at least?

That was his forum I used it in the past sad I lost all I had from his site when we moved away but came back
