Whenc clicking on the last post link (that arrow next to each thread), it sometimes doesn't take you to the last page of the thread and dumps you in the middle of the thread. This is intermittent. Here's a video of the bug - it takes you to the third page in the thread when there are more pages ahead of it.

I can't replicate this. Can you see the same behaviour on this site?MARK.B

I can't replicate this either. My first suspicion would be something is blocking the JS which determines the last post.Comment

It is not that - we have tested this on Chrome, Firefox, with/without ad-block, etc.
Even if you look at it right now, check the thread called "Game 2, NBA FINALS: Golden State Warriors @ Toronto Raptors - Sunday June 2nd, 8pm ET TSN" and try clicking the double-arrow next to it.

I looked at this more and when I clear the system cache in the admin panel, everything shows up fine. For some reason it's caching information on the thread listing page. Is there a way I can tweak that setting so it doesn't aggressively cache?Comment

Please see my previous comment. I just cleared the system cache and it worked but will likely happen again. I've also upgraded to 5.5.2 from 5.5.1 so hopefully that helps. Do you think something in the 5.5.2 change log would've addressed this?
There is one recently resolved issue that may have at least something to do with the issue.

What is the URL when you right-click on the Go To Last Post link and copy the link to your clipboard?

I can replicate the issue on my side. It scrolls to the correct post specified in the "p" querystring which is supposedly the node id of the last post. The problem is the Go to Last Post link "p" querystring value which is currently 1300262 is not the last post. The last post node id at the time of this writing is 1300798. So there is a caching issue when the Go to Last Post information is retrieved.👍 2Comment
