I'm just running a test site for upgrade from V4 to V5. Can anyone tell me where I users are supposed to add events to the Calendar or the setting that controls the ability to do this . As a default Administrator I can't for the life of me see any "Add Event' control or link.

Adding an event is done by creating a new topic, in any channel, and clicking the Calendar icon in the toolbar. Topics created this way will appear in the Calendar.VB 5.7.2
PHP 7.4
MySQL 8.0.28 -
You can select the content type of your topic when it is created. Events are just a content type and can exist in any channel that you give the users permission to view them. The Calendar is simply a module that displays the search results of Event Topics. To create a new Event, start a new Topic and click on the Calendar icon.
