  • Issues with the search function

    Hi,

Since I have upgraded from 4.2.3. to 5.4.0. I have issues with the search index and/or function.

I have created the search index several times but it seems like there are not all words indexed.

    Example:

I want to search for "firefly" in my forum. That term exists in several threads. But the search results comes back as empty.

Klicke auf die Grafik für eine vergrößerte Ansicht Name: firefly2.PNG Ansichten: 1 Größe: 33,5 KB ID: 4394248

When I check the database there is the word "firefly" within the table "words":

Klicke auf die Grafik für eine vergrößerte Ansicht Name: firefly.PNG Ansichten: 1 Größe: 10,5 KB ID: 4394247
Searching for the wordid 3274 shows the following results in the table "searchtowords_f"

Klicke auf die Grafik für eine vergrößerte Ansicht Name: firefly3.PNG Ansichten: 1 Größe: 21,6 KB ID: 4394249
Any idea why I do not get results on this (and other) searchterms?

    Thanks!

If you set "Search in titles Only" does it appear?

Are you using quick search or the advanced search?

What happens if you put this keyword into a search module?

What is the searchlog table entry for this search after you complete it?

To add a search module, click the "Edit Site" toggle on any page.
        Click on "Edit Page".
On the module tab, click and drag the search module to the page.
Click the "Pencil icon" to edit the options. Enter your keyword in the appropriate field.
        Save the module.
        Save the page.

Can you run this query and post the results here?

            Code:
            select * from node where nodeid in (525457,525854);

Any idea how to solve this? It is really annoying that the search function is not working properly.
