  • [Site Builder] Redundant Article Tab?

    I've seen a couple of other threads on this site about this seemingly redundant item - but in reading them, it seems like the people asking the question either meant something else, or weren't conveying their intent clearly. So I'll give it a shot.

Name:	Articles.JPG
Views:	28
Size:	33.5 KB
ID:	4390599As you can see in the photo - there are two "Articles" tabs. The one on the bottom (above the "+New Article" button) would also have a "My Subscriptions" tag if I had that turned on.

    Anyway - I am trying to build the site with a front-end CMS, where just articles appear on the front page. As such, I think two Articles tabs are redundant, and while I want all of the things in the "Articles" channel to appear on this page, I'd like to set it so that second, smaller Articles tab isn't present. It doesn't contribute any needed information, and takes up valuable screen space.

    Is there any way to make it go away?

    You could probably hide it with custom css. We'd need a link to the page to see if that might be possible.

        Hmm your site isn't currently loading at all for me. Times out.

              As stated above, we need a link to the page with the problem so we can tell you how to solve the issue.

              You need to add this CSS:

              #widget_172 .widget_tabs_nav {display:none}
              Translations provided by Google.

                Well, the link is the same one I posted before: https://forgedby4.com/index.php

                I added that line to additional.css - but the Article tab is still there.

                  Hmm... I see the problem... Sorry. It should be .widget-tabs-nav. I always get thrown by the inconsistent use of underscores and dashes in our CSS.
