  • can't configure/edit ad widget

    Can't edit 'ad' widget

When I attempt to edit the ad widget, I receive an error - this error occurs whether I'm trying to configure a new ad-spot or edit an already existing one (from before upgrading to 5.4.1)

    VB 5.4.1 - PHP 7..2.4 - MySQL 5.5.56
No Addons - none at all.

    Run these queries:

    DELETE FROM cache
    DELETE FROM cacheevent
    DELETE FROM searchlog

Then clear the browser cache and restart the browser.

    Does this help?

Attempting line 1 of your delete commands resulted in the following error,

An error occurred while attempting to execute your query. The following information was returned.
      error number: 1146
error desc: Table '8bit.CACHE' doesn't exist

I realised I'd wrote in all caps, so copied & pasted your exact contents and they all worked one by one. I emptied the browser cache & restarted. The error persists, unfortunately

ETA : Logged in via alternative browser - problem fixed. Thank you so much for the suggestions, it now appears to be functioning normally - Not sure why, but Chrome seems to be struggling to co-operate with this specific function (MS Edge seems to be working fine).

The error in the screenshot is caused by ad blockers installed in browsers. You need to whitelist your site.
