Can we Like Comments?

Is there a way to turn on the ability to Like comments? I was thinking those were just nodes, so it might be possible?

There is no option or interface currently to Like comments.

Okay, is it theoretically possible to write a mod to do it? I am guessing that comments are just Nodes and that the Like system is tied to Nodes? If so it would just be a matter of writing a mod to do it, yes?

Probably is an easy fix. However, it isn't on a priority list anywhere so isn't even reviewed for upcoming versions. As such it hasn't been fixed.
