[Bug / Issue] Member Registration Error

On my vbulletin 5 forum registration isn't working.
When user enters a user name its throwing a popup with 500 internal server error.

To reproduce:
Go to the registration form
Enter any user name, move to next field.
You would see the 500 internal server error popup.



Any idea why this is happening and how to resolve this?

Enable debug mode in the config files to see the actual PHP error.

Did you find a fix to this one? I've got the same problem. Not sure if due to the latest update (a few weeks ago), or something on the server..

It's a generic server error which doesn't tell us anything.
Please follow the same steps in this thread.

Plus check your server's error logs - Internal Server Errors should be written to those...

did you find a fix for this? Having the same issue on a few boards since the last upgrade.

Is the fix upgrading EasyApache from v3 to v4?
