  • Running the vBulletin Install Script

I can't make the script run.

    I am going to:

    http://www.your-domain.com/core/install/install.php

    and

    http://www.your-domain.com/forums/co...ll/install.php

I am using my domain of course..

I am writing the address with http adn htpps for ssl certificate... either way still get
    File not found (404 error)

How can I find the location of the files to run the script?

I am following the instructions from the manual, but I can't find a part on which I set the files in a particular location.

The upload transferring folder was at public.html/Vupload

BTW... I would surely like to run it as a subdirectory .com/forums

We don't mention a specific directory because every installation is different. You would upload the vBulletin package to the directory that you want to run vBulletin in. Everything in the UPLOAD folder should be placed in this location.

So if you want vBulletin in your public_html/forums/ directory then that is where you would upload the files to. Since you currently have the files in public_html/Vupload then you would go to your-domain.com/Vupload/core/install/install.php to run the installation scripts. When you're done, vBulletin will be operational at your-domain.com/Vupload/.

      Cool deal...

I think I know how that part works..

I am now working on the vBulletin 5 Configuration Builder...

Seems like I am getting an error... need to go back and re-check the information I put on the config.php file...
