BB icons fit the wrong buttons

Somewhy in the new comment or post editor, the BB buttons don't use the icons they should, look at the picture, the B icon functions as the italic button, and ? functions as the Bold button.

My website is thehub.co.il and using vB 5.2.2

Make sure you have cleared your browser cache and restarted your browser. The editor was significantly updated in 5.2.2, and if you have a cache of the old one, it will cause problems.

Same.. maybe it's becuase of the theme? As far as I know it was updated but maybe it didn't update correctly, I don't know..

Possibly. Try creating a new style with no parent, then view your site with that style. Do you still have the same problem?

I have to say, this is usually a browser cache issue. It'd be unusual for a style to mess with the ordering of buttons. It is not straightforward to do that. I'd be suspicious that your browser cache hasn't actually cleared.

Yeah, it's the same problem with the default theme.
I tried posting with a browser that I never used (IE haha) and it's the same problem.
I tried to play with the css and saw that this is caused by this line:

.cke_button__italic_icon{ background: url([URL="http://thehub.co.il/js/ckeditor/skins/moono/icons.png"]icons.png[/URL]) no-repeat 0 -24px!important;}

If I remove this line (uncheck it in the chrome inspect tool) the problem is fixed, but I don't know how to cancel it from the vB files..

If you submit a support ticket we can test it for you and try to find out why it's doing this.

I'm assuming when you upgraded to 5.2.2 you uploaded ALL the files, and ran the upgrade script?

Yes I did. Last time I submitted a support ticket I've been told that the support applies 30 days only after the purchase..

The problem seems to be coming from this file:

I went to this site: http://ckeditor.com/addon/moono, downloaded the latest skin, and placed it instead of the old one

That shouldn't be necessary, and indeed potentially may cause problems as the latest version of CKEditor is not the version that is built into vBulletin - it's a few releases back.
If this was needed, we'd have undreds of customers reporting the problem.

There is something fundamentally wrong on your site that caused the issue. I would recommend downloading a fresh copy of the FULL 5.2.2 package, uploading these to the server making sure you overwirite what is already there, and then run the upgrade script again. Then clear the system cache in the admincp, and also your browser cache, and restart the browser.

In terms of support tickets, if support staff ask you to raise a ticket, that means we need you to so we can have a look at your site...the 30 day rule then doesn't apply, so if you want to do that here, include a link to this thread so the agent picking up the ticket knows we've asked you to raise it.

Okay I upgraded it. This problem was fixed, although it was okay by downloading the latest version, but if you say it can cause issues then I'm glad I did that, I still have a lot of problems though:

• Category and all other templates empty.
• Duplicate date
• Dialogs are pushed to the right

I thought re-installing vBulletin should fix it..
All of these problems are not related to the theme since they happen also with the default theme, which has no parent.

We will need full details of the issues you are having, as these don't happen on a default installation.
Duplicate dats sometimes occurs in non-English languages I believe, that's a known issue.

I had the very same issue. It was a browser cache issue. After I did a delete cache and hard browser reload, the icons were back to normal.
