    posts being held for approval

    Hello,
In vB5.2 is there a setting which will stop any posts from being held for approval?

    Thank you,
    Kenny

Hello - I don't see "Forums Permissions" under "Usergroups"... are you sure this is where it can be found in vB 5.2?

Interesting, my admin CP menu looks totally different than yours. Is it because we have Patch Level 1? (also, your attachment is very small, hard to view, I can't seem to expand) Click image for larger version

When you click on the "Go" button to edit each usergroup you will see the menu I posted.

OK I found forum permissions for every usergroup but "require moderation for posts" was already set to "no" on all of them. Yet the other day, shortly after upgrading to vB 5.2, a couple posts got witheld from posting with a message saying they were unapproved. One of the forum admins managed to find the posts and approve them, which in itself wasn't easy apparently... so two questions:
              1. if every one of those is set to "no" why would a post still get held for approval?
              2. when a post does get held like that, where is it located? The admin who fixed the issue the other day had to search all recent posts by the member in question to find the two that needed approval
              Thanks for your help!
              Kenny
