Latest Activity displays very little content

Hi

I am using the latest activity module/widget on my homepage. The issue I am having is that it is only showing one sentence of limited length. How can I increase the word count? As you can see in the screen shot only one limited sentence displays. I'd like to display at least two to three full sentences:

In topic display options (show thread) in ACP it has activity stream preview character length. No matter what number I put the preview does not change.

You can try this but it may break your style:

.activity-stream-widget .list-container .list-item .list-item-body, .channel-content-widget .list-container .list-item .list-item-body {
padding-left: 0;
padding-right: 0;
height: 200px;

Change the "200" to any value you like.

Add to css.additional.css

AdminCP > Settings > Options > Forum Display Options > Length of Topic Preview Text. After you change it, make sure you go to Maintenance > Clear System Cache
