I've had a major uptick in spam registrations over the past 2 weeks. Maybe my site got added to some kind of list?
Anyway, I already use re-capcha and I wanted to start using the Stop Forum Spam feature also. I tried doing a search on it here to see if there was any prior discussion on it, but I couldn't find any.
I registered with Stop Forum Spam and got an API key. I put it into the Spam Settings area of the adminCP. However, I'm wondering, does this actually work in VB5? If I have it enabled, will it in any way interfere with the normal sign up procedures of VB5? I don't want to block new people from registering if there's a bug with this.
The reason I ask this is because while I seem to have it enabled, I have no idea if it's working. There is this message in adminCP:
Pretty neat if it worked, but I tried deleting messages both from my admin account and a mod account and no where did I see any option to report the user info to Stop Forum Spam. Does anyone know the answer to this? Thanks.

In addition to handling registration, suspected spammers can be reported to the service via the Inline Moderation Delete Posts option.
