  • Database error?

MySQL Error : Table './t5db/vb_nodehash' is marked as crashed and should be repaired
    Error Number : 145

I got like... 115 emails with this mySQL error last night. I ran the built in Table Repair tool on the table, but it said the check was ok. Any suggestions? I feel like it might be preventing people from posting on the forums as there weren't any posts made from 3am to 10am today. Which is highly unusual.

Did you get any further instances of the error after running the repair?

No, I haven't yet. But I also hadn't gotten the error message since about 7am, but I got the same swarm of database error emails Monday night as well, but then I got none during the day Tuesday.

If the table has been successfully repaired, then you shouldn't get any more, as the fact it needed reapiring was the reason they were generated.

Hi, for some reason this keeps happening every so often. I've had to repair the tables twice since I posted this topic. Is there a way I can find out why it keeps happening?

Are you repairing it just once or until it tells you the table is OK (sometimes it may take more than one repair)?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

I only do it once, but it says it's ok each time.

Then you may need to ask your host to repair it for you.
