submitting a brand post takes 60 seconds or more

Dear Sirs,

I have been experiencing problems with the time it takes to post a new post on vBulletin. This started to happen out of the blue a few weeks ago and it cotinues to be like that.
It took more than 1 minute to submit a BRAND NEW post with just some text, replying to existing posts is slow as well, about 5-8 seconds, much more if they include images.

There must be something wrong somewhere, but I don't know what it could be or what to start looking. I've installed vBulletin 5.1.5 to see if this issue was resolved but it's as slow as before.

Any idea where the problem could be?

Well, I'm shocked. Posted previous message was as slow as on my site, tit took more than 60 seconds to be submitted on this forum as well

I've tried to submit a new post in my forum by using Chrome and Firefox, same speed problem. I've done it by logging in with my user through my dedicated server in a completely different IP and the problem is still there, so it shouldn't be my computer or browser.

It looks like the problem is also here on vBulletin, I'm confused

Replying to the first message was super quick, creating a brand new post takes ages as on my vBulletin forum.

Did you post in a relatively large forum with lots of topics that users have subscribed to? This seems to slow down vB5 (it also happens on this site). However, the notifications system gets refactored in the next releases, so that should speed up vB5 by quite a lot.
