minify templates?

I've never understood why vB has always had massive gaps of empty lines when viewing source code. any plans to minify the tempaltes?

Doesn't really gain you much if you're already gzipping the output. You're welcome to create an improvement request in the VBV project though.

Blank lines are most likely caused by <vb:comment> statements which are stripped when the template is compiled.

It would make editing the templates a disaster if formatting was removed.
