Future-proofing?

I am currently running vb5 beta 11 and am considering buying some forum posts to get some content started. My concern is; is it possible that future upgrade including gold and beyond may inactivate my forum posts (sql database input)? Could there be any significant change to the vbulletin development that may impact forum posts, negatively...

Don't want to invest some funding in content if I might loose it down the road. Thank you.

Thanks Wayne. Although obviously knowing these releases are in Beta it would be helpful if existing content wouldn't disappear. Just to give my thumbs-up to this request.
