Changing Channel to catergory

You can't convert a channel with topics in it to a channel. .

I'm going to be quiet but that last word is wrong, it goes by another name.

You can't convert a channel with topics in it to a category. You would need to empty it first.

Remove sub-forums from where? The Sub-Forums module? You would have to edit the phrase but it is probably used elsewhere. We are currently in the process of reworking how category pages such as /forum works.

When i try to do this i receive the following:

Error: cannot_convert_channel


Is it also possible to remove the words "sub-forum" on the forum directory ?

I found out that the error:

Error: cannot_convert_channel

This is due to there being topics in that forum. However the second question still stands.
