How to change the background behind logo

Would someone be kind enough to tell me how to change the background color behind the logo on my forum? http://forum.canadahifi.com/

Basically, I would like the black background behind my logo to stretch all the way to the right.

I would also like to remove the default background texture that's behind my logo right now? How can I do that?

But I think it is one of the header ones, maybe header_background. Change it to black.

Another related question then - is there a way to change the width of the header background to stretch all the way from the left to the right side of the screen (I'd like this to adjust automatically to fit everyone's screen width)... just like I have it set on my main website www.canadahifi.com?
