Can't display thumbnails in CMS posts

Hello,

one of my clients still has problems with his vB5.

One problem is:

He attached a picture and he can't add the picture as a thumbnail in the post.

I tried the same, Uploaded my own picture, dragged it up, ... it shows in the editor but when you save your post it disappears.

Any ideas?

According to the link above, you're not attaching a picture. You're creating a Photo Gallery using the Camera Icon. This is meant to create a topic centered around multiple images viewed in a Light Box. You cannot insert images inline using this method. This is not a bug or problem. It is by design.

To attach images that you can use inline within a Text Topic, Click the "A" button on the right and use the insert image button. This is how it worked in 4.X as well.

Yea but isn't it possible to attach some images to the post and use those images in the post?
