Slow site

Good afternoon.
I find my site very slow when posting. I've checked with the hosting company and they say everything is good concerning the server. When I click around the site the site seems to be fast but after a write something and try and post it ,that's when it becomes very slow.

What version of PHP are you using? Are you using any caching systems like APC or memcache? Are you using Cloudflare?

@sudbury8 First off, start by doing what Wayne mentioned above as that may play a role in why your site is running slow. Also you are using vB 5 which is at the moment significantly slower software than previous vBulletin versions.

Hi I have it set to php 5.4, and select specific mopdues. I can turn on memcache or you can in the cpanel.
What do you guys think of this??

Please provide a link to your phpinfo... We can't turn on memcache on your server. We do not handle server configuration. Is this a shared server?

Also try flushing your system cache under Maintenance.
