Notification that leads to no post

I have a notification to say someone replied to my topic.

I follow the link but do not see a reply.

So I go back to my notification, then to the persons profile to try and follow it up there.

When I get there I see



The person has had no activity, he/she has posted a no post and my notification has been generated.
How weird!

Could be a post that's been removed for some reason, or possibly a comment that's further back in the thread.

There are no visible signs of a post being removed i.e. pink empty squares but I will go with that for want of another reason. It certainly isn't further back in the thread as the thread is only 1 page deep.

Mystery is not over. I have a liked registered, I saw it 2 hours ago. I haven't got the notification yet. Although I do remember the user name.
