Trouble with Links in 5.0.0

I just updated from 5 beta 25 to 5.0.0 and am still having issues with links. If I use the post link option the link is only to the main website, but will not follow directories. i.e. I enter a link to :http://mywebsite.com/directory/xx.html but the link takes the user to mywebsite.com not to the directory and desired file.

If I use advanced and build a link, it worked in beta, but now I get the [URL coding] 3 times and the link does not work.

With the first part, are you using the link content type or the URL button in the editor?

The second part is a known bug that seemed to appear around Beta 28, I think it's due to be fixed in 5.0.2.
The best workaround at the moment is to construct the URL manually by actually typing out the URL BBCode. Not ideal I know.
