    Is it right/normal that I can comment my own comments?

    Yes...you might suddenly have an opinion on what you just said.

    In seriousness, it's no different to being able to quote your own posts really.

      Nice one, got it. Nice to see some humour showing through all of this at long last.

      One more thing, are comments limited to a specific number?

      He makes a comment but I cannot respond to his comment, all very confusing.

      It stops for some reason and we just left with edit or flag.

        You may respond to comments, but not quote them. I think the intent was that people would all be talking about that post and so there was no reason to quote anything.

          I do not see any specific limit to the # of comments in the settings, can you link to a post where you can't make further comments? I know there is a limit to the number of comments shown at once, you have to scroll fi there are too many.
