  • New APK being bounced as version code older ?

    Hi

I have sof ar released the app twice.

So all I have done is add FCM and went to release a new version

    Unfortunately I am declined.

You can't roll out this release because it doesn't allow any existing users to upgrade to the newly added APKs.

When poking further the application code

    Old APK

    Ver 2012301534 31 Dec 2019 00:14

    New APK

    Ver 2002111148 seconds ago

It does not matter how many times I rebuild this app, the code version is always less than the one I downloaded in late Dec 19

    Anything I have missed ??

I get the usual warning of code could be smaller but this one where users cannot upgrade is a show stopper it seems

    John

    Thanks In Advance

Interesting that they have an upper limit for the version code. I rebuilt your app with a modestly increased version code; please give it another try.

Your app should always have the proper version code going forward.

                    Now for something completely different

Server keys etc. all OK, tests runs fine.

                    test sending a message

Error code : Error: At least one device failed to receive the message with the following error. Error Codes: MismatchSenderId

Never ends, i thought i had followed the how to pretty much to the letter despite the tutorial being a little outdaed as regard the screen shots of Googles Console pages

More to fix, add it to the list

hope it is not something to do with the app build, com....7200 I always notice the downloaded APK gets wrapped in a directory 7176 and guess thats an old build number

                    Thanks In Advance
