    I'd suggest running a MySQL query on the db and do the whole thing throughout the whole database, in one or two query steps. It will work. You'll be replacing a certain set of chars with a new set of chars, to reconstruct the links to the videos.

    Something like this:
    UPDATE [table] SET [column] = REPLACE([column],'<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/', 'whatever the correct opening embed code is');

    then run something like this:
    UPDATE [table] SET [column] = REPLACE([column],'</iframe>', 'whatever the correct embed closing code is');

    Be sure to backup your db before running any actual sql commands on the db.

    I don't know of any way to automate such a conversion. You might check vBulletin.org. Maybe someone can help you write a plugin that will do it.

    How high a security risk is this Lynne?

    How to I rebuild them with the bbcode? Do you mean manually? I have thousands of videos.

    The youtube videos were like this code.

    The above code worked on old site but not on the new one.
    Really depends on how you have this done. Your previous blocks and widgets are most likely not compatible and probably were not imported. If they are posts in a thread, you will need to make sure that HTML is turned on in the Forum Options within the Forum Manager. This is a security risk though and you should rebuild them with the [video] bbcode.

    Concerning your videos... I guess that the bb code is different, did you check that already?

    started a topic after my database transfer

    after my database transfer

    I've noticed a few things after my database transfer

    1. I have a boxing video section with thousands of videos (youtube embeds/daily motion scripts etc..) Now no videos are showing

    2. attachment from the old arent showing.

    3. Searching the forum only shows up posts after the transfer.
