  • Anybody smart enough here to figure this out?

    I'm trying to convert my IPB 3 forum to vB3.

    I get this error when trying to import the users:

    There seems to have been a problem with the database.

    IP.Board 3.2.2

    I did manage to convert the posts, topics, and forums over successfully. Just the members didn't go through.

          Yes, I realize that, but I still went ahead anyway.

          I successfully converted over the posts, topics, and the member's usernames, but I'm missing their profile link/accounts. The error in the OP is displayed when I try to use the Users module.

            Add the missing field to your database. That is add the notes field to your ipb_profile_portal table.

              Thanks Wayne. By any chance can you give me the instructions on how to do this? What is the exact query I am supposed to type in?

                It isn't a vBulletin table but I guess you would use something like:

                ALTER TABLE `ipb_profile_portal` ADD COLUMN `notes` TEXT NULL;
