Its really important to give impex as much resources as possible for the import. Impex is pretty system hungry, but it will work with (most of the time) whatever you give it. -

Thanks to Zachery in support I have finally been able to import my UBBthreads 7.5 database!
I had to actually copy/move my production ubbthreads db to a test server I created here in my office, it just wouldnt work at my hosting provider. A bit of a pain in the ass, but in the end, its working. Being able to do it on my own server helped get it resolved since i could set the server configuration files any way I needed to get it done.
Zachery asked me to make the changes below, and after a restart of the server, I tried again and it worked... Took a short while, but worked. I am now in the process of getting the live site up and working. (Moving the new database to the production server and getting it going...)
I had to make the following changes to the my.cnf/my.ini and php configuration:

I hope this info helps anyone else having issues with importing their ubbthreads software. The vbulletin software is a HUGE step into modern day technology. Its too bad ubbthreads hasnt has the manpower or ability to keep up as I have loved it for many years, but vbulletin is now so far ahead I am not sure ubbthreads will be able to even come close any more.

OK so I have just finished downloading my ubbthreads database and setting up my own LAMP server here in my office. I am still getting the very same thing on my own fresh server here. Nothing else running on it, totally clean server with only this stuff and it still dies on the posts part, even doing only 200 at a time.
I have updated my trouble ticket with full login information to my test box so you guys can log in and see whats going on... Hopefully when you figure it out, the fix can be applied to the scripts so that future ubbthreads people will not have these issues...

Your php installation has turned off error displaying and is not logging any php errors.
Try adding the following to your vBulletin and impex config files:
ini_set("display_errors", 1);
Check php info in the admincp after that to make sure dislpay errors reports as on instead.
I added the tags to both config files and its showing in the phpinfo as on now
I tried it again, and still the same page as screencap2, no errors being displayed... This time I even tried making it do ONE post per page. Nothing...

Nope, still with it set to debug, all i get is the blank screen in screencap2. Again, all the other steps work perfectly before the posts module.
